ABOUT AMI

A 51-year-old mom of two incredible boys, a personal trainer and coach with over 30 years of experience, and someone who’s deeply passionate about helping women reclaim their strength, energy, and confidence during one of the most overlooked and misunderstood transitions of their lives: perimenopause and menopause.
 

With a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a Master’s in Exercise Physiology, I’ve spent my career immersed in the science of movement, metabolism, and women’s health. But what I’ve come to understand — more than any textbook or lab ever taught me — is this:
 

No amount of education can fully prepare you for the physical and emotional shift that happens in midlife.
 

Because I’m living it too.
 

Despite decades of training, clean eating, and helping clients transform their bodies and lives, I found myself in my 40s feeling… off. The workouts I once loved left me drained. My trusted nutrition plan started working against me. I gained stubborn belly fat. My sleep and mood were all over the place. And I started asking the same questions my clients were asking me:
 

“Why isn’t anything working anymore?”
“Is this just what getting older feels like?”
“Do I really have to push harder to get results?”
 

The answer? No. But I had to unlearn a lot to get there.
 

 I traded intensity for intention.
I learned how my changing hormones were impacting everything — from metabolism and stress response to muscle retention and recovery. And most importantly, I gave myself permission to evolve.
 

Today, I blend real-life experience with science-backed strategy to help women 40+ reset their metabolism, rebuild strength, and reclaim confidence — not through punishment, but through a hormone-smart approach that honors the body you have right now.
 

I help my clients understand:
